During my internship with the National Park Service, I assisted with native plant restoration and nursery operations. I collected and stored seeds, propagated plants through seed germination, cuttings, and divisions, and supported restoration projects by planting, watering, and weeding. I also conducted vegetation monitoring, helped control invasive species, and developed skills in plant identification, taxonomy, and using GPS for field data collection. This experience provided hands-on training in ecological restoration and practical fieldwork techniques.
